VERDE VALLEY WATER USER’S, INC.

7:00 P.M.

 

 

 

1.         Call to Order

President Wrobley called the meeting to order at 7:10 p.m. Members in attendance included President Wrobley, Members Karen Sousa and Larry Watkins. Also in attendance was Legal Council Duane Wyles.

 

2.         Approval of Minutes

Secretary Reddell was not in attendance so there were no minutes to approve.

  

3.         Treasure’s Report

There was no Treasure’s Report.

 

4.         Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting will be at Oak Creek School April 17, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Either Jamee or Duane need to check with the school to be sure that we have a PA system and screen. We can pay someone to set up and be there to make sure everything is working if necessary. We need to be able to get in by 6:15 to set up chairs and tables at the door. We will need membership rolls, application and brochures and people to staff the tables.

 

If they are ready, Wednesday 3/26 will be the day to stuff and stamp the mailing at the SEC Office. Jamee will e-mail the Board Members requesting they help if possible for the at least part of the day. 

 

5.         Election of VVWU Vice-President

No election because there was not a quorum.

 

6.         Adjudication Update

            Nothing happened that requires Board action or directly affects the VVWU.

 

7.         Well Monitoring

            Ray Wrobley announced that Chris Garrett would be at the SEC Office on 2/28 at 10 a.m. Board

Members may attend if they desire. Larry Watkins said his and Fullers house had not been read for

a long time as far as he knows.  

 

8.         Next Meeting Date & Time

There will not be a Monthly Meeting because of the Annual Meeting. The next meeting will be in May and the date will be announced.

 

9.         Adjournment

            The meeting was adjourned by President Wrobley at 7:50 p.m.
